Charles William Erickson Grand Rapids Veterinary College collection
Charles William Erickson (1875-1975) graduated from the Grand Rapids Veterinary College in 1911. This collection documents his days as a student at the school. Included are photographs showing students and faculty, classrooms, laboratories and dissection scenes. Booklets provide data about the college and its curriculum.
Chicago and West Michigan Railway Company collection
This small collection documents the business affairs of the Chicago & West Michigan Railway Company during the late 19th century (circa 1887-1892). It contains primarily annual reports and a few promotional brochures for resort tours in Northern Michigan in the 1890s.

The Crosby family papers consist mainly of letters written by members of the extended Crosby family. They describe the life, social conditions, farming, weather, religion and family matters in towns in New York, Connecticut, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan, including Grand Rapids. Some of the letters describe pioneer conditions, especially the illnesses and difficulties encountered by those settling in frontier communities in Michigan and Ohio.
