1. Bartel Meat Market, 1890. Copy photo. Shows the facade of a corner store with an awning. Two men with aprons stand on the front steps, along with assorted children and a dog (African American boy near the dog in the store entrance).

Scope and Contents 1. “Baseball in 1882”. Historical print. Has words Saginaw vs Grand Rapids” in white bottom center. Shows men on the field playing, in uniforms. A fence separates the field from the open landscape containing several buildings on the other side of the fence. Structures on the rise behind the buildings top left may indicate a cemetery.
