Scope and Contents
1. “Baseball in 1882”. Historical print. Has words Saginaw vs Grand Rapids” in white bottom center. Shows men on the field playing, in uniforms. A fence separates the field from the open landscape containing several buildings on the other side of the fence. Structures on the rise behind the buildings top left may indicate a cemetery. In the bottom right corner of the image is a post, perhaps a support for roofed viewing stands. A sign attached to the post reads “Smokers Section”. Source unknown. Negs. 1394 & 1447 unverified.
2. Baseball in 1882. Copy print, said to be from Neg. 1447.
3. Alpine Short Stockings vs. West Side Bushwackers. Played May 27, 1888. Historical print. Shows a row of players standing, a row seated in front of them, and two more men in the near foreground. Plays mostly shirts and suspenders holding their pants. A variety of hats are worn. Appears to be a rural landscape with a barn at right and a fence behind the players. Additional written information on the verso. Neg. 3996. Source of photo unknown.

5. CO K [Company K?] baseball team, ca. 1900? Interior team photo, standing & seated. One man in center in the suit, perhaps the coach, appears old than the others in uniform.
