Abstract The Burlingame Congregational Church began in Wyoming, Michigan in 1924 and grew steadily up until the Depression when it experienced financial difficulties and membership loss. The pastorate of Rev. Edwin Richard Evans helped revive the church and it prospered through the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, during Evan's tenure and beyond.
