Abstract The Grandville-Jenison Congregational Church began as an Indian Mission School, along the banks of the Grand River. In 1889 the church became The First Congregational Church of Grandville and Articles of Incorporation and Association were adopted. Around 1903 the Congregational Church of Jenison was organized and a frame building erected in 1905.
