Abstract

The Grand Rapids Press Arts and Entertainment Index scrapbooks include arts related newspaper clippings for the years 1973-1992. The clippings are primarily from the Grand Rapids Press, with some from other local and national publications. This collection was a GRHSC department project that was arranged and completed by a volunteer, Marilyn Titche.

Abstract

The Van Hoecks Shoes scrapbooks includes eleven scrapbooks for the years 1975-2008. Each of the scrapbooks contains clippings of advertisements for Van Hoecks Shoes that were published in the Grand Rapids Press or other local newspapers.

This collection includes historical materials he collected or created, primarily including photographs taken from albums, but also scrapbooks, ephemera and reference documents.
