Thomas glass plate negatives
The Thomas glass plate negatives contain 269 historical glass negative images from the first decade of the twentieth century, plus one original photo. The plates seem to have been taken by Mr. Thomas and his daughter. The images depict Thomas family members, houses, house interiors and various Grand Rapids views such as the flood of 1904, the Grand River, John Ball Park and workers. Also included are views from Holland, Grand Haven and Muskegon, Michigan.

Tom currently operates a home business creating poster art from historical travel literature and ephemera. Wilson and his wife, M. Christine Byron, are authors of several Michigan travel books.

William Hill images of Alexander Calder's La Grande Vitesse
William Hill is a photographer in Grand Rapids, Michigan who documented the installation of Alexander Calder's La Grande Vitesse. The collection includes color slides showing the construction of the sculpture on the plaza at Vandenberg Center and the dedication ceremony. Also included is information relating to the Big Red Thing project at Grand Valley State University (circa 2007) and some biographical information on Hill.
