The Speeches series includes notes and texts of speeches on the topic of Calder's sculpture and the role of art in society delivered by Mulnix herself or others. Of note are statements by Mulnix and Gerald Ford during the dedication of "La Grand Vitesse, Jack Fortner comments on "A Festive Piece for Alexander Calder" written for the dedication, and the text of Mulnix's presentation before the Michigan House Sub-committee on Appropriations.
