Abstract The Western Michigan Genealogical Society church records collection is the result of a project conducted by the WMGS to borrow and microfilm historical files from churches throughout the Western Michigan community. The project was begun in 1974 and completed during the late 1980s. Some 243 church organizations eventually contributed to the project. Many of these, but not all, are represented here.
