Abstract
The Hollyhock Lane Parade records contain various materials documenting the history of this annual Grand Rapids neighborhood Independence Day parade that began in 1934 and continues to the present day. Founded by residents of Calvin and Giddings Avenues, the parade committee was incorporated as The Calvin-Giddings Patriotic Association, Inc. Abstract
Howard F. Baxter (1886-1969) and Robert T. Baxter (1913-1975) were the second and third generations of the Baxter family to head the Baxter Laundries Corporation in Grand Rapids, Mich. The collection contains business records and personal papers. The business records relate daily operations and finances and describe the laundry industry. The personal papers relate the state and local political career of Howard Baxter and the navy career of Robert Baxter.

Abstract
Kreigh Collins (1908-1974) was an artist, illustrator and cartoonist. This collection contains the bulk of the known archival papers and illustrations compiled from his estate. Included are childhood sketches, early advertising art, book and church illustrations and panels from his three better known comic strips (Mitzi McCoy, Kevin the Bold and Up Anchor). Also included are reference materials, personal and professional correspondence, scrapbooks, sketchbooks and other clippings.

J. Gerald Vinkemulder (1900-1975) was an early aviator in West Michigan. During the 1920s and1930s Vinkemulder was a test pilot and a stunt pilot, with some experience also as a dirigible pilot. He founded the Grand Rapids Civil Air Patrol during the 1940, and was active in other organizations related to aeronautics.
