The Blandford and De Korn family photographs collections contains 31 photographs, fascimiles and originals, of the Blandford and De Korn nuclear and extended family. There are several photographs of of Christina Catherine Blandford's as a teacher at Godfrey-Lee School, including her first classroom and her first class of students at Godfrey Lee Elementery School. There are also two photos, one identified as Rev. Hulst and the other of two young girls identified as Minie and Tressa.

The school was founded as the Union Benevolent Association Training School for Nurses in 1886 and operated until 1987. It was also known as the Marion Louise Withey Training School for Nurses and Blodgett Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. The Bos Leather Company was formed in 1909 in Grand Rapids, Michigan by Sidney (originally Sietse) J. Bos (1878-1941), a Dutch immigrant. The Bos firm specialized in shoe making, but also manufactured a limited amount of other leather products, such as briefcases. The Local Bricklayers No. 1 was a notable and large early labor union in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was the first bricklayers' union in the state and was involved in strikes in 1891 and 1893, over wages and and working hours. The Bridge Street House was an early tavern and hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This collection includes three volumes of records from the hotel: a register from 1857-1860 and day books from 1853-1854 and 1857-1861. Though apparently not comprehensive, these volumes detail the daily expenses of the hotel, before and after the structure burned in 1855.
