Abstract Harry Wesslund (July 22, 1912 - September 23, 1985) was an artist and designer in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He worked in the display departments of Wurzburgs and Herpolsheimers before starting his own company, Custom Displays, Inc. Wesslund designed many displays and graphics for a number of local and regional companies. Abstract The Hattem family owned and operated Hattem's Cafe in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Moses Hattem was the proprietor and Maxine, his wife, played the organ at the restaurant. Abstract

The book, "Heart & Soul: the story of Grand Rapid's Neighborhoods", was a project led by the Grand Rapids Area Council for the Humanities. This collection primarily houses materials collected during the project. The book was published in 2003 by Wm. B. Eerdmans of Grand Rapids. Many of the images in the publication came from the archival collections at the Grand Rapids Public Library. Other original materials were provided by individuals donors from the community.

Helen Earlene "Beans" Risinger (1927-2008) was a pitcher for the Grand Rapids Chicks (Grand Rapids, Mich) baseball team, pat of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL). This collection contains baseball cards, programs, magazine and newspaper articles, scrapbooks and photographs of the Chicks. The material focuses on Risinger's years on the team, 1949-1954.
