Mrs. James nee Landgon McKee. Believed to be Mrs. James H. McKee, from a reference to a Civil War document created by James H. McKee and given by James Langdon McKee (son?) The identification of Mrs. McKee on the photos is in a later hand than another note, which appears to read “To Mr. & Mrs. H.? P. Bridges. Ever ? Friends, Fraternally Mrs. W. Henry.”

McKee as the item appears to have been cut from a large composite photo, and there is evidence in the collections that such a larger photos of the John Ball era existed. James H. McKee was John Ball’s partner for many years. No information on a James A. McKee is found.
