Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection documents through the Chamber's minutes, activities programs, scrapbooks, records, publications and photographs, the impact of the organization in and on the community, and reflects especially the economic development of Grand Rapids from 1888. The bulk of the collection dates from 1888 to 1946, the exception being the photograph series which encompasses primarily the 1950 to 1980 period.
