Scope and Contents From the Series: Accession #: 1993.017. Donor: Lois BallemaWesley A. Clark enlisted in Company K, 6th Cavalry on September 10, 1862 in Assyria, Michigan, at age 19. He was mustered October 13, 1862 and taken prisoner at Travillian Station Virginia on June 11, 1864. He was discharged for disability at Baltimore, Maryland on May 19, 1865. This series includes two photocopied letters, the first being one that he wrote to his first wife, Juliette Beebe while a POW at Andersonville, GA....
