Harper, retired faculty member of the History Department, Calvin College, a brief glimpse of the progress of this life changing experience of immigration to a new country and new life, is captured here. The cards depict scenes from Hoboken, N.J., where they landed, but mostly of Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Muskegon, Michigan, where they lived and worked.
