Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series contains an insurance appraisal prepared in the 2010s by Helaine Fendelman for the Baker Furniture Museum. Fendelman was hired by the Baker Furniture Company to conduct the appraisal at the company’s warehouse and storage facility in North Carolina. The appraisal documents 766 furniture pieces owned by the company and is organized by item number. Each entry includes a photographic image of the piece accompanied by a separate page of descriptive information, which may note the century of manufacture, physical dimensions, and, in some cases, the fair market value (FMV).
