Scope and Contents
The Gerald Elliott Papers consist of the writings and correspondence of Gerald Elliott from the 1930s through the 1990s. He worked as an editor for The Grand Rapids Press from 1941-1972. His non-fiction writing consists of correspondence, speeches, essays, magazine articles, and various columns of The Grand Rapids Press. The collection also contains drafts of the many short stories and novels he worked on in his spare time, as well as scripts of musicals and sheet music.
