Biographical / Historical

Photo depicts a young Genevieve "Jennie" (Birkhoff) Morehead (1878–1945), taken circa 1900. She was the oldest daughter of George Birkhoff, Jr. (1852–1914), who served as Commissioner General from the Netherlands to the Chicago World's Fair in 1893 and was Consul of the Netherlands in Chicago from 1888–1904.
