Scope and Contents

From the Series:

The series of historical illustrations, titled "Do You Know," produced by Collins to accompany Willis Atwell’s historical facts, were used in a publication to celebrate the State of Michigan's centennial (1935-1937). Collins illustrations contain the publication month & day, and an illustration number. The published book form, called "Do You Know", contains the same date & illustration number, and can be used as an index to the original illustrations. In addition to the book form, the "Do You Know" series was syndicated, by Booth newspapers and originally published in the 8 different Michigan newspapers. Arranged chronologically by publication date.

(Unconfirmed) The series contains both copies for the different panels in the scrapbook the printed column, often from different newspapers.
