This collection was created in 1999 to house the fragments and small accessions within the archives that relate to the furniture industry in Grand Rapids. Information on non-Grand Rapids furniture companies is not actively collected, though some national material can be found in Collection #335, Furniture Design Archival Collection, National Literature. The other complimentary collection with a national focus is the Furniture Design Book Collection, which is housed in its own room within the Grand Rapids History & Special Collections department.

Includes Flaherty. The Flaherty booklet is missing, See above.This scrapbook has been moved from the old black 2-ring binder to 1 acid free folder. Pages [5]-[8] are missing at the time of this move. Some pages found at the back of the scrapbook binder are not numbered or included in the original scrapbook index. Clippings found in a pocket of the binder have been placed in photo sleeves, and are housed with oversized newspapers and newspaper clippings at FF.VIII.C
