General

There are three Frank Proctors listed in the 1907 city directory. One is a well driver, one a manager for Mengel & Brothers Co., and one a draftsman for Williamson & Crow. Given the Grand Rapids National Bank image included with this collection, at least one of the Franks, if all are from this same family, may be associated with these images. 8 men & 1 woman in or around an early auto, ca. 1907?, near a building left, near a factory with freight cars for the Grand Rapids & Indiana Railroad in the background. The young fellow in the front seat nearest the camera was identified by the donor as Frank Proctor. Verso stamp: J.H. Packer, State View Photographer, Room 34, Porter Blk, G.R. Neg. 4231.
