Deaf & Dumb man, who was a cobler, shown in front of a shack with tools, leather, harnasses, etc. A note from an unidentified source accompanying the image states that this deaf mute kept the mens books in repair, but was killed near winchester on the railroad, unable to hear an approaching train.
