Scope and Contents

1. Logo in New Registration Lobby. Pg. 10. “Amway Grand Plaza Hotel” sign on a wall with definite vertical elements to the walls, and grid panels in the ceiling.
2. ? Grand Lobby. Lobby near the Monroe / Pearl corner. Two large chandeliers. A round seating area surrounds a fountain under the chandelier in the foreground. A variety of other seating and decoration. A stairway at left to upper levels and dining/meeting rooms.
3. Continental Room. Pg. 10. Interior view of a room with a domed ceiling, with a chandelier, and a rotunda feel. There are columns along the wall, with draped mirrored windows and doors along the wall. Large round tables are set for about 10 people each. Three women in waitress uniforms stand toward the back of the room.
4. Monroe Café. Pg. 11. View from the interior toward the street, with a glass enclosed eating area. The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel entrance and marquee are seen in the background left, with people standing near the entrance. Two lanterns hang from the outer wall above the sidewalk. Two people stand on the sidewalk outside of the empty café. View to the buildings on the other side (East side) on Monroe St. The tables in the café are mostly round for four people, with a few tables for two. The chairs are striped.
5. Parlor in Suite. Pg. 10. Image shows two men seated at an oval table in a small dining rooms. A waiter is serving.
