Abstract This collection documents the Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids Plank Road, which was constructed in the 1850s and used through the 1860s. The road was important to the early development of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The material was collected by Marty (Martha) Arnold and includes research resources, photographs, published materials and a slide show with script.
