Abstract Dorothy E. Hubbard Skinner (1897-1979) compiled typescripts of various resources that documented Michigan history. She completed this work during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Topics relate mainly to West Michigan, such as the Grand River, Lamont, Fallasburg, Grand Rapids, interurbans, Byron Township, Alpine Township, Georgetown Township, Plainfield Township, Haire School and lumbering.
